London, July 8, 2025 — Sensereo is proud to announce that we have officially joined the Council of Gas Detection and Environmental Monitoring (CoGDEM), the UK’s leading trade association for the gas detection and environmental monitoring industry.
We were honored to be introduced as the sole new member at CoGDEM’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 8th, 2025.
Founded in 1974, CoGDEM brings together manufacturers, service providers, technical experts, and regulators to advance best practices, influence industry standards, and promote safety and innovation across the gas detection sector. The organization plays an active role in the development and interpretation of key industry standards, such as EN 50291 for Carbon Monoxide Detector, while serving as a bridge between industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Joining CoGDEM marks an important milestone for Sensereo as we continue to develop cutting-edge smart sensor solutions for fire safety and indoor environmental monitoring. With our commitment to Matter over Thread technology and user-centric design, we are excited to contribute to the ongoing dialogue around product safety, innovation, and international standards.
