Sensereo’s MS1, the World’s First Matter over Thread Smoke Alarm, Now Compatible with iOS 18.4 Public Beta

[February 25, 2025 – Shenzhen, China] – Sensereo, a leader in smart home and fire safety technology, announces that its MS1, the world’s first Matter over Thread smoke alarm, is now fully compatible with Apple’s HomeKit following the release of iOS 18.4 Public Beta.

Apple introduced the first developer beta of iOS 18.4 on February 21, 2025, followed by the public beta on February 24. This update expands HomeKit’s support for Matter over Thread devices, marking another step forward in smart home connectivity. With HomeKit continuing to evolve, Matter over Thread is becoming a core standard for seamless, low-latency, and highly reliable smart home experiences.
